My current thought process:
I wonder if I could fast for 40 days and 40 nights. Jesus did it.

My wonderful Fiancee, Tyler, has informed me that they actually fasted for 40 days....as in, they fasted during the day, and ate at night. How did I not know this?

most people don't know that.. they prefer to believe in magic, and don't look further than the words on the page. also, people assume that 2000 years ago was just like today, only without electricity..
but still 40 days, when you generally eat 3 times a day, and you eat possibly one meal a day, is still a test of strength and endurance (not to mention will and faith) that most people couldn't do, and those who can couldn't do it without duress
That is very true. After Tyler told me that, I felt like it would be a bit Sacreligious to not add an update or fix it somehow.
It would be a huge test of strength, endurance, will, and faith. It would have to be something incredibly important to me to do something that extreme. And even then, I don't know that I'd go 40 days. Probably 10 or 15.
