Birth Announcements

So, I finally got the pictures back from the photographer, and was able to design Jake's birth announcement!! I am really excited about it. For about a year now, I have been contemplating creating digital scrapbooking kits/birth announcements/various invitations as a way to bring in extra cash. So I did several different examples with this layout just to have some samples to get started. (I own the copyright on Jake's pictures, so I plan on just using those for the samples I do, unless anyone wants to "donate" some pictures to be used for samples.) If you happen to know anyone that needs invitations/birth announcements/etc. done, I'm currently trying to build a portfolio and will do them for free. (And I will give them a written copyright release to use for printing.)

The hangers seem to distract from the pictures that I am using, but they may work better with different pictures. I'll have to play around with it more with different pics. I knew I wanted to use green and brown with the announcements, so this is what I put together with that idea in mind. It's a very simple layout, and I'll put together more elaborate ones later.
