It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Happy almost 2009 everyone!

This break has been wonderful. I've had so much fun, and the Holidays have been great. Christmas day, I was home in Vegas, and it was raining. I was really happy cause that meant it wasn't cold enough to snow! =) We also went to my grandma's house out in Parhump. It was fun to see everyone. My dad gave me Guitar Hero World Tour, and the special edition of The Dark Knight.

The day after Christmas, I had to get up at 3:30 in the morning. I was exhausted, but I had to be to the airport by 5, cause my plane left at 6. So I got there at 5, and by the time I got to the gate, they were already boarding! But I got there, and my bag got there, and everything was good. We had a 2nd Christmas that morning, which was really fun. I was really surprised by all the gifts. But very excited and grateful as well. Tyler's family got me new slippers, pajama pants, yummy smelling body wash, a scarf and gloves, and a coat! I was so excited. And Tyler got me a beautiful pearl necklace and matching earrings. He did an amazing job at choosing a gift.

Tyler and I got everyone in his family a tracker bug, because we all like geocaching. For those of you who don't know what geocaching is, it's sort of like a treasure hunt. You go online to geocaching.com, where people post the coordinates of where they hid caches. Inside, you just find little trinkets, or tracker bugs. The tracker bugs have numbers on them, and you can enter them in the website, and find out where they have been. It's actually a world wide thing, and it's really fun. So, back to the point. We got everyone in his family (including ourselves) these tracker bugs. We all chose little hot wheels/matchbox cars to attach them to, and we are going to race them to Disney World and back. It's really exciting, and really fun. I'm excited.

So, then we got to hang out in Gardnerville for 5 days. I was sad to go. It went so fast, and I feel like we didn't get near enough time there. =( But now, we are back in Vegas. We got in at around 8:50 pm on the 30th (plane was delayed, of course) and we have just been hanging out. We got to see my cousin and her fiance, which was fun, and we are planning on going to see the new "The Day the Earth Stood Still." (I got my dad the original copy for Christmas. He was pretty excited about it.)

Anyways, that is all we have been up to! (I know, super exciting lives we lead. ;] )

So, a late Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Year to all!
